My name is Stefanie Lowy, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado. I earned my undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, where I majored in Human Development and Family Studies and minored in Psychology. After graduating, I spent two years working as a preschool teacher, which deepened my passion for supporting children and families.
I went on to receive my Master of Social Work from Erikson Institute in Chicago, where I further developed my clinical skills and commitment to working with young people. I am currently a high school social worker in Denver, and I truly love the work I do with adolescents.
I have experience working with clients ranging in age from 3 to 30, and I value the diversity each individual brings to the therapeutic process. I am passionate about creating a supportive, empathetic space where clients feel understood, empowered, and able to grow.
I’m Max Stager, a Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, LPC, NLP) with over 20 years of clinical experience working with adults, couples, families, and teens. I help people find connection, clarity, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. My work often focuses on relationship issues, communication struggles, trauma recovery, and personal growth.
I integrate diverse therapeutic perspectives because life doesn’t fit neatly into one box. I work collaboratively with clients to build on your strengths, understand patterns that hold you back, and develop concrete tools that help you feel more confident and connected. Outside therapy I enjoy Colorado’s wide open spaces, time with animals, and cycling the trails around home.
My goal is to walk alongside you on your journey and provide the support you need on the journey. There is no judgement based on diagnosis or background. I have spent most of my clinician career working with those with severe mental illness diagnosis or requiring residential mental health treatment.
I work with children, teens, young adults, and families who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday stress. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood—without judgment.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when relationships, emotions, or past experiences start to weigh heavily. You don’t have to figure it out alone. Together, we’ll explore what’s been coming up for you, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful changes that support your overall well-being.
My goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and equipped to handle whatever life brings next.
I am a bilingual Health Psychologist. I examine how biological, social, and psychological issues that influence your well-being. In other words, I consider all of you. I am highly focused on how context and the larger systems impact your identity; choosing interventions that match your worldviews and lived experiences. I have a powerful ability to sit with your story and hold the space needed to heal. Working with me invites you to move beyond “good enough” and achieve deep lasting self-agency.
