I have been a mental health clinician for over 20 years and have worked with many people to help them be their preferred self. I am licensed in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and art therapist who works with people navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, emotional highs and lows, and complicated relationships with alcohol or drugs.
My background in art therapy means there is always another way in when words feel like too much. Creative approaches are optional, but available for those who want them.
Outside of the office, I crochet, travel, go to concerts, and practice flow arts. That curiosity and creativity carries into how I work with clients.
I have been a licensed therapist in the Boston area for 25 years having graduated from the University of Virginia and Boston University School of Social Work. I have experience with inpatient and partial hospital treatment, but found that I love working with clients individually on an outpatient basis. Though I worked in a substance abuse program, my clients presented with many other issues including depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, self-esteem, grief and loss, and relationship conflicts.
