Welcome—I'm glad you're here. Reaching out for support takes courage, and it’s an important first step toward feeling better. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who helps adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, collaboration, and practical tools for lasting change. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship conflict, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s holding you back and discover new ways forward.
My therapeutic style is warm, down-to-earth, and centered on your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based, and person-centered approaches—blending evidence-based techniques with genuine human connection. Together, we’ll identify patterns that no longer serve you and build on your strengths to create a more balanced, fulfilling life.
I work with adults across all stages of life, including those navigating career changes, caregiving roles, or life transitions in later adulthood. I believe healing and growth are possible at any age.
If you’re ready to start your journey toward greater peace and self-understanding, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Let’s take that next step together.
PhD in Psychology and licesned professional counselor. Focus on depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and anger management.
Hello, and thank you for considering therapy with me! I understand that seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and I want to assure you that this is a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, experiences, and challenges.
I studied Forensic Psychology and completed my Bachelor’s degree at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I went on to complete my Master’s degree at St. Johns University where I studied Mental Heath Counseling.
I have a background in medical social work and experience working with adults from all walks of life. I specialize in treating clients with anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and past or recent trauma, including ante/postpartum experiences. I have a special interest in processing trauma through the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
Life can take us through twists and turns. On the outside things may seem fine, but on the inside, you are feeling incredibly overwhelmed. You may feel confused, misunderstood, and unsure of who you are becoming. You may have difficulty controlling negative thoughts or quieting your mind. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, or interpersonal challenges, counseling can be an incredible outlet. I provide individual counseling for adolescents and adults to enhance insight on personal struggle, develop effective coping skills, and empower my clients to face each day with confidence.
During my career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my work in various settings has allowed me to help adolescents in middle and high school as well as adults in private practice. I have experience working with individuals struggling with varying degrees of symptoms. In practice, I use various treatment modalities tailored to each individual client.
Making the decision to commit to counseling can be difficult, therefore I applaud you for making the first step towards change. If you are looking for a therapist who has a genuine passion for guiding others, I am looking forward to working with you! Make sure to check out my website and contact me with any questions.
