Clients I work well with: Those facing change, seeking solace from overwhelm, and looking for inner peace. They're navigating the complexities of life's uncertainties, reaching for clarity and resilience. Their needs are a safe space to process experiences, tools to cultivate mindfulness, and support in finding meaning and purpose. Ultimately, they seek to find a balance in their lives and rediscover a sense of calm within themselves.
Ultimately, I believe we are all human—doing our best to live meaningful lives in a beautiful yet challenging world. I practice with this mindset and with the belief in our innate capacity to heal when given the right support and guidance. My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered. I view my clients as the experts in their own lives, holding the answers within themselves. While finding this path can be difficult, with the right support, growth and transformation are truly possible.
I am a licensed therapist in New Jersey (LPC) and New York (LMHC), with specialized training in the treatment of trauma, anxiety disorders, and depression. I am certified to provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to help reduce symptoms of depression, trauma, and other forms of emotional distress. Additionally, I am certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)—a therapeutic intervention that supports nervous system regulation through filtered music.
I hold a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Forensics and Addiction, as well as additional certification in trauma treatment. With over ten years of experience in the field, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices in my work. My experience spans diverse settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practice.
I am a true believer that our experiences, good and bad shape our worldview. At times, these experiences can cause us to feel detached from community, family members, friends, and ourselves.
Through evidence based practices, and a strength based perspective, we can process these experiences. We will work together using your strengths, and resources around you to help you make sense of what doesn’t. This journey is possible!
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide holistic, trauma focused and culturally sensitive therapy. I treat children, and adults. At this practice, our Child Therapy incorporates expressive therapy through play and art therapy. This approach has proven beneficial in helping children develop positive behaviors and coping skills. I work with teens and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, domestic violence, women’s issues, life transitions, relationship challenges, and traumatic experiences. At this practice, we will help you discover your true self through self-improvement and authenticity.
