You deserve a down to earth, compassionate, counselor and therapist. You deserved to be listened to with no judgement and pre-conceived notions. I approach therapy in a way that is grounded, approachable and attuned to the whole person. With over 15 years of clinical experience, I take an integrative approach that combines evidence-based practices with warmth, directness, and thoughtful collaboration. My goal is to help you create meaningful, sustainable change. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationships, self-esteem, and life transitions. Many people often report feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected internally. Together, we slow things down, identify patterns, and build practical tools that support long term growth.
If this is your first time seeking therapy, or if you have been in therapy before you are welcome here.

Healing comes in many guises. We can heal from a cut hand with a band aid, we can heal from a broken bone by setting it and isolating it in a cast, but when we heal from hurting feelings and trauma, we're not as savvy on how to heal this. Sometimes, when we're traumatized, we don't know what to do to feel better. I can help you clarify a plan of action to help you feel using a variety of interventions.
I hae a collaborative approach in working with clients with a wide range of backgrounds.
I first received my Master's in Guidance & Counseling in the 1990s from Hunter College in Manhattan and obtained an Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Buffalo. I have also been a practicing, licensed massage therapist for nearly 30 years. I have clinical experience providing empathic mental health care for individuals, couples, families, and groups and have treated anxiety, trauma, depression, personality and eating disorders, as well as other mental health concerns. I have also treated physical disease conditions and physical trauma with mind/body techniques. Each client is unique, and raising awareness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors is the focus in working collaboratively and intentionally towards realistic solutions.
