Hello! My name is Natasha Pemberton-Todd and I equip people with creative strategies for effective living. I am a North Carolina licensed clinical mental health supervisor (LCMHCS) holding both an undergraduate and graduate degree from Andrews University—in Behavioral Sciences and Community Counseling, respectively. I am with also a training and performance improvement specialist with a Masters degree and extensive experience in the area.
Welcome! I’m Ashley, and I’m passionate about supporting clients on their journey toward healing and growth. I have over nine years of clinical experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. I specialize in trauma-informed care as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). My background includes a Master’s in School Counseling where I gained internship experience in both elementary and high school settings. I support individuals navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship challenges, trauma, grief/loss, and women’s issues. While I have worked with clients of all backgrounds, I do also offer Christian counseling, if requested, for those who wish to incorporate faith into the therapeutic process.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Conflict Studies and Dispute Resolution from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I also hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling, with honors of distinction from Capella University. I am a trained mediator who loves the opportunity to allow clients to be exactly who they are, while they figure out who they want to be.
I received My Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health Science because I care so much about the Earth and the creatures that inhabit it. But I soon realized that if I was not interacting with people (or animals) that the work I was doing seemed irrelevant.
Then caring for my terminally ill stepmother led me first towards nursing, then to Social Work.
Since getting my MSW, I have worked In a wide variety of settings ranging from domestic violence shelters to a medical hospital to a homeless day center. I believe that despite our varied backgrounds and beliefs, we are all good at the core and want to be physically and emotionally healthy in order to make the most of our lives. Some of us have learned bad habits by being told, or telling ourselves, that certain things are not possible or us and that is rarely the case.
Reaching out for help can be scary, yet here you are! Congrats on taking that first step. Sometimes we have to do the scary thing when we want more for ourselves. Something I hear again and again from my clients is: after they asked for help, some of the weight they had been carrying around came off. I hope the same will be true for you. Therapy has brought me hope. And I believe it can do the same for you.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist, I firmly believe that prioritizing mental health is essential for achieving happiness and stability in life. Taking the step to seek help can often be daunting, which is why I am here to guide you through the initial stages of this journey. With 20 years of experience, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals, including teens, adults, and families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation. My goal is to support you in navigating these challenges and fostering a healthier mindset.
Warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative; that’s the energy I bring into my work.
I’m Rachael, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, based out of North Carolina. I earned both my Bachelor’s (2017) and Master’s (2019) in Social Work from Western Carolina University.
I’ve been helping individuals through their healing journey since 2019. I help people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected find their way back to feeling grounded and in control.
If you’re used to holding everything together on your own, therapy can be a space where you don’t have to anymore.
I have a passion for helping those in need find their inner strength and resilience. We all have it within us to find solutions to our problems; sometimes we just need some guidance. I offer an integrative, client-centered approach to counseling. I place considerable value in building a strong therapeutic relationship. Just one small step is all it takes to begin the process of change. Whatever is going on, let's explore together!!!
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and discover their strengths. I have experience supporting clients dealing with addiction, ADHD, compliance issues, family conflicts, trauma, intellectual disabilities, and crisis.
