Hello, I'm Julie! I hold a Master's degree (MA) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I am also trained in other effective treatment modalities, including Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acudetox (ear acupuncture), auricular acupressure, and ketamine and cannabis-assisted psychotherapy. Additionally, I offer cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES), which is effective in treating anxiety, depression, and insomnia.
I am driven by a desire to guide and empower you through your past and present struggles and into your best life. I have 15+ years of experience helping clients navigate stress, trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship difficulties, substance misuse, historical/intergenerational trauma, domestic violence and more.
I believe it takes immense courage to open yourself up to the process of therapy - to go against the taboo and actually talk about yourself, your pain, and your shame. I will be your supportive guide through this process, helping you use what you learn to change the patterns that hold you back and close the gap between who you are and who you want to be.
