I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen and understood. I am thoughtful, present, and deeply interested in your story, not just your symptoms. I approach our work together with curiosity, care, and respect for who you are and where you come from.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I also teach and train future mental health professionals, which keeps my work grounded in strong clinical ethics, ongoing learning, and real world application.
I tend to work well with adults who are open, curious, and wanting to become more self aware, especially those who are willing to explore their inner world and engage meaningfully in the therapeutic process. Many of my clients are navigating trauma, including complex and relational trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, grief, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or significant life transitions. I also work closely with high achievers and perfectionistic individuals who hold themselves to very high standards and are feeling burned out, overwhelmed, or weighed down by the pressure they carry.
Clients often describe me as attuned, warm, authentic, and curious. I am deeply present and engaged, and I bring energy and momentum to the work when it helps move things forward. I aim to create a space where you can be real without needing to explain yourself perfectly or hold everything together on your own.
If you need someone completely in your corner to motivate you to make positive changes in your life within a safe space I am your therapist! I bring years of experience in the counseling profession to support clients in accessing their innate health and resilience. I will guide you to move beyond self-defeating beliefs and unproductive behavior patterns as you begin to approach life with increased agency and confidence!
I work with young women, millennials, teen girls, and young couples. I can support you to help build boundaries, work on relationships, learn coping skills to deal with anxiety & stress, talk through life changes & challenges, big decisions, small decisions, or anything else. I focus on family dynamics, generational patterns, and helping you choose the best steps to take moving forward.

I decided to become a therapist 14 years ago and completed my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University. My passion for helping families and individuals heal led me to specialize in Medical Family Therapy and to also receive advance training in EMDR therapy.
Sometimes life overwhelms us, but it doesn’t have to. I believe we all have the potential to control the way we react to situations we face.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Fort Collins, Colorado, and the founder of A Place To Be Counseling. Before starting my private practice, I spent three years in a small group practice and four years working in inpatient facilities, where I supported individuals through some of the most challenging times in their lives. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and specialize in depression, anxiety, out-of-control porn use, and trauma-informed care. My approach is grounded in mindfulness, authenticity, and collaboration—I strive to create a space where you can explore your experiences with honesty and compassion.
