I am originally from Connecticut but have lived in Florida for over 24 years. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University and my Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Connecticut.
My graduate school experience included working with clients dealing with schizophrenia in an in-patient hospital and working with Catholic Family Services, where I provided therapeutic services to clients ranging from adolescence to adulthood. Since then, I’ve worked in private practice using person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and some EMDR techniques.
Greetings!
I’m excited to welcome you to work with me. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with years of experience working with individuals who chose to focus on themselves in a holistic manner. I believe our minds, bodies and souls heal best when we address them jointly.
I’m a therapist, a mom, and a human first. I know how messy, beautiful, and overwhelming this season of life can be—because I’m in it too.
I specialize in supporting people through pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood, including breastfeeding grief, birth trauma, and the identity shifts that can come with becoming a parent. My approach is warm, honest, and deeply compassionate, blending trauma-informed therapies like EMDR, IFS, ACT, and DBT to help you feel more like yourself again.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
