Hi, I'm Christina and I am so glad you are here. With over 20 years of clinical experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care, my work is rooted in helping individuals find understanding, healing, and a way forward when life feels heavy or stuck. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York, and I also hold a certification in Perinatal Mental Health from PostPartum Support International.
Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside but internally struggle with anxiety, trauma, overthinking, relationship patterns, or persistent feelings of guilt and self-doubt. They often understand their patterns intellectually yet still feel stuck repeating them. I specialize in EMDR therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process difficult or overwhelming experiences so they no longer feel as emotionally intense, allowing clients to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.
Welcome to my practice! I am a medical school Valedictorian, Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD), and NASM-Certified Personal Trainer/ Nutrition Coach/ Weight Loss Specialist who treats adults (ages 20s-40s) struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, body image or eating issues, life adjustments, loss, insomnia, panic, and OCD. With a warm and practical approach to psychotherapy, I prescribe medications gently and only when needed.
Emmanuella Saget is a Nurse Primary Mental Heath Nurse Practitioner in Suffolk County NY. I have been practicing in outpatient mental health setting treating patients across the life span, with diagnosis not limited to Autism spectrum disorder with behavior. I provide bariatric surgery clearances and a medical marijuana with psychiatric clearance.
I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in helping clients and couples with anxiety, self-esteem, body image, stress management, relationship issues, life transitions, chronic illnesses including cancer for both patients and caregivers, and bereavement. I have several years experience working in both mental health clinics and the oncology field.
I have been in practice for over 30 years and work primarily with adults struggling with a variety of life issues. Relationships, career, divorce, stress management, anxiety and depression are some of the things that bring my clients into therapy. I work individually, as well as with couples and provide group therapy (to resume post-Covid).
I am a New York state licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. from Columbia University who brings over a decade of experience from adult psychiatric emergency, inpatient, outpatient, women’s health, forensic, sub-acute rehabilitation and counseling center settings. I offer individual psychotherapy and work primarily with adults or elderly adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, grief and loss, as well as racial-cultural, identity and immigrant concerns. Starting your mental health journey is a significant and courageous decision that can bring up feelings of fear as well as uncertainty. Sometimes the hardest part is taking the first step, this could be yours! My goal is to create a therapeutic space where you feel safe, accepted, understood and empowered to explore life’s challenges at your own pace.
I believe our past can shape us, but it doesn’t have to define who we become. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts and New York with over 12 years of experience, I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex family dynamics. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I also believe therapy should be tailored to each individual—there’s no one-size-fits-all path to growth. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, thoughts, and experiences that may be holding you back and develop practical tools to help you move forward. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you build the life you want.
