I am a queer, sex positive, and spiritually-minded Licensed Professional Counselor. I enjoy taking a holistic, integrative and direct approach that helps clients work through their mental health struggles, existential concerns and relationship challenges. I specialize in working with adults who feel stuck, disconnected, or are questioning parts of themselves that no longer fit their lives. Many clients are unpacking religious trauma and exploring faith on their own terms. I also provide a sex-positive and an LGBTQ-affirming space to explore and work through challenges related to sexuality and nontraditional relationships, particularly for gay and bisexual men.
As a 2nd generation child of immigrants/refugees, I understand the complexities of exploring one’s own identity as life is still in motion. I believe that integration of new lived experiences with old ones are key in discovering wholeness. As your therapist, I’ll support you in better understanding how these have influenced your way of being–how you think, behave, and interact with the world around you.
I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University. With over 7 years of experience in social services, I have observed how all individuals are learning to exist & thrive within the context of a greater whole. Within my role as a mental health therapist, I prioritizes person-centered work with a lens on how one’s lived experiences have shaped their worldview and way through life.
I believes in holistic care and supports the idea that the tools required for healing and wholeness derive within each individual; as your therapist, I’ll support you in discovering what these tools are within your own capacities.
I have experience working with individuals working through cultural identity challenges, grief, chronic illness, geriatric populations & in couples therapy.
I am a licensed therapist with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Slippery Rock University and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Liberty University. With over 14 years of experience in outpatient therapy and more than 5 years of supervising counseling interns and master’s-level clinicians, I bring both clinical expertise and a strong commitment to supporting fellow professionals in the field.
I have received specialized training in grief treatment using current evidence-based approaches across the lifespan, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My clinical experience spans a wide range of ages—from toddlers as young as 2 to individuals in their 80s—and I genuinely enjoy working with all age groups.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but I believe it’s a powerful and courageous first step toward healing. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered on your journey toward wellness.
